Swan Hill region is renowned for its Murray River location, fresh local produce, epic landscapes, Australian native wildlife and Aboriginal heritage.

The region runs alongside the majestic Murray river for nearly 200 kilometres and features changing landscapes, thriving farms, and historic townships like Lake Boga, Nyah/Nyah West, Woorinen and the regional centre of Robinvale.

The original custodians of the lands are the Latji Latji, Wemba Wemba, Barapa Barapa and the Wadi Wadi Nations. Their strong cultural connection to the land, and their contribution to our diverse community, continues to this day.

The Swan Hill region sits on the borders of Victoria and New South Wales. The region is well serviced by trains and coaches from Melbourne. A major network of highways intersects within the Swan Hill region; the Murray Valley Highway from Melbourne and the Mallee Highway from Adelaide.

Transport to, from and within the region is convenient and efficient. Local bus and taxi services are in operation, including daily bus and train services to and from Melbourne and Bendigo.
